Stephanie Ball, Chair (2010) is a lawyer and Dean at Durham College’s School of Justice Studies.  She has been an OHF board member since 2002.  In addition to OHF, she serves on the board of directors for the Oshawa YWCA, Alcohol & Gaming Commission, Big Sisters, Durham Community Legal Clinic and the Volunteer Resources Centre Board.  Ms. Ball is also a past board member for Whitby General Hospital. C.R. (Chuck) Powers, Past Chair
,  is a retired Secondary School Principal and Superintendent of Human Resources with the Durham District School Board.  He has been a devoted volunteer for The Oshawa Hospital Foundation since 1975 and is currently the Chairman of The OHF Board of Directors.  He has served on most of the hospital’s committees including Audit, Board Executive, Long Term Planning, Finance and Redevelopment Planning.  He continues to serve on all of the Foundation’s Committees. In addition to his commitment to the OHF, Mr. Powers also serves as a board member for the Parkwood Foundation, he is active in his church and community projects. Learn more about Chuck Powers here.

Gary Down joined The Oshawa Hospital Foundation Board of Directors in April 2010. He is a retired secondary school principal. Past President of the Local Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and currently serves on the National Board of Ducks Unlimited.

Dave Flett is a Transport Consultant.  He has been an OHF board member since 1999.  His other associations include Director of the Ontario Trucking Association, Director of Durham Region Crime Stoppers and the Director and Chair of the William Frank Hayball Foundation.  He is also a member of the Oshawa Rotary Club.

Susanne Hillebrand joined The OHF Board of Directors in June, 2006.  Her expertise is a welcome addition.

Arthur Lovell
, Treasurer is co-owner of Lovell Drugs Ltd., and has a very personal connection to The Oshawa Hospital Foundation.  Arthur has been a member of the OHF Board of Directors since 2000.  He also sits on the Board for the Parkwood Foundation and the Volunteer Resource Centre.

Paul Mackie joined The Oshawa Hospital Foundation board of directors in 2006 and also serves on the Board's Human Resources Committee.  In 2001, Paul served as Co-chair of the Foundation's Heroes of Hope Campaign to help raise funds for the building and equipping of Durham's first Regional Cancer Centre.  The Heroes of Hope Campaign would go on to successfully raise $42.5million for the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.

Clair Peacock, Vice Chair, is the owner of Peacock Lumber located in Oshawa.  He has been a member of the OHF Board of Directors since 1990.  Mr. Peacock is also a Life Governor and Past Chair of the former Oshawa General Hospital, now Lakeridge Health Oshawa Board of Governors.  He is an active member the Board for the Parkwood Foundation. Charyl Galpin
joined The OHF Board of Directors April, 2009. Charyl is the Executive Vice President & Managing Director Co-Head, Private Client Division, BMO Nesbitt Burns.

G. Charles S. Morison joined The OHF Board of Directors in June of 2006.  He practices law with Creighton, Victor, Alexander, Hayward, Morison & Hall LLP.  He has been a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court since 1982 and a member of the Children’s Lawyer Panel since 2000.  He was a founding member of the Big Sisters Advisory Council and has served as both Director and President of Big Sisters Newcastle-Oshawa-Whitby.  Charlie was active with the United Way and served as Campaign Chair.  He is also active with the Ontario Philharmonic, and has served as a Director and Chair.  Charlie has also served on Boards and been President of the Oshawa Ski Club and Oshawa Golf Club.  He also served on the 1991 OHF Fundraising Committee, as well as various other local fundraising drives.

Glenn Willson (d.January 13,2012) joined The OHF Board of Directors in June, 2006.  Glenn had been a dedicated volunteer with the Foundation for a number of years.  He was President of Ontario Motor Sales and Mills Pontiac Buick, served as chairman of the Dominion Group Inc. and was affiliated with Lindsay Pontiac Buick.
