Donors are welcome to establish Endowment Funds that can provide significant support to a specific healthcare area or program of Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
A permanent endowment may be established whereby the capital is retained in perpetuity and only the annual income is used. The capital amount required to establish a permanent endowment fund is $100,000 in order to ensure that a reasonable annual sum is available.
Donor endowment funds may also be established for a pre-set period of time whereby the initial capital contribution will be paid out in entirety. The minimum amount required is $50,000 to ensure there is enough annual revenue available to fund programs with an annual disbursement of approximately $2,500.
